COOLER INTERIOR
Window tint is a great way to reduce the interior temperature of your vehicle, making it much more comfortable on even the hottest days. By blocking out direct sunlight, window tint helps to keep the temperature inside your car cooler and can reduce the amount of heat buildup in the car.
BLOCKS UV RAYS
Window tinting effectively protects you and your car from the sun’s damaging UV rays. By blocking up to 99% of UV rays, window tinting can help reduce the risk of skin damage and interior fading while keeping your car and reducing energy costs by blocking heat and light.
CLEAR SIGNALS CONNECTION
Window tint with non-metalized construction is ideal for those needing a clear signal connection. The nano-hybrid carbon manufacturing helps ensure that the window tint color is stable and does not interfere with signal connectivity, eliminating signal interference.
PROTECTS PRIVACY
Window tinting is the perfect way to add a touch of privacy and style to your vehicle. It helps block the view from the outside, making it difficult for passersby to see what is happening inside the vehicle. Additionally, it can help reduce glare and reflection, improving your driving safety.
How long does it take to install auto window tinting?
Length of time varies from 1hr – to 4hrs, depending on the type of car, the size, the number of windows, and the number of auto tinting installers working on the job. The job should always be finished the same day it is started. If we have to remove old window tinting, the job may take a bit longer but should still be completed within a single business day.
Beware of companies that offer to come to your home or office. Professionally installed window film should be applied in a highly controlled, dust-free environment which is virtually impossible to recreate at home unless you have a storage area specifically designed to preserve collector cars.
How much does it cost to tint my car windows?
The average cost to have professional window tinting ranges from $200 to $1000 or more. There is a huge price variance due to:
- The size of the car/windows
- Number of windows being tinted Window tinting type/quality (for example ceramic tinting products cost more than standard options)
Your best bet is to get free estimates from at least three different professional auto window tint installers in your area and go from there. Don’t forget to ask them about their guarantees and warranties to make sure you get the best bang for your buck.

What Is Tinting Film?
Auto tinting begins with a layer of special tinting film, which is applied to the insides of the windows. The film is made of a durable polyester laminate, which can be treated in a number of ways to create different effects. This includes light filtering; the film can be customized to filter out UV rays, reduce infrared penetration, reduce the glare of visible light, or a combination thereof. This allows you to choose a tinting film that best benefits you, whether by making your car’s windows more energy-efficient and reducing unwanted heat gain, improving road visibility in sunny conditions, or more.
How Is Auto Tinting Applied?
After you’ve chosen a tinting film that both meets your needs and follows the standards of local car window tinting regulations, you’re ready to begin the installation. While it is technically possible to install it yourself, unless you have professional experience, it is better to hand this job off to a specialist. They will begin by cleaning your windows, and then cutting the film from a sheet of stock. Some specialists will cut the film by hand, but others used automated systems. These systems have databases of the shapes and dimensions of the windows of many different car models, and can accurately cut based on a template.
The film will initially be applied to the outer window, where it will then be heat-treated so that it conforms to the curvature of the windows. During this step, any air pockets that have formed will be removed, and any excess film will be trimmed from the edges to make sure it fits the windows perfectly.
Finally, the inside of the window is cleaned, and the auto tinting film is applied to the inside of the window, where any last-minute imperfections will be smoothed out, and the job will be finalized.
The End Result
Now that the film has been installed on your windows, you now have a car that not only looks better, but has improved window functionality to boot! Based on the type of film you’ve chosen and how it’s been treated, you’ll enjoy benefits such as increased privacy, cooler interiors, and improved road visibility on sunny days. And because the film is incredibly durable, it actually improves safety too—in the event of a collision, even if the windows shatter, the film will keep the pieces together, preventing them from entering the passenger area. They are also more difficult for would-be car thieves to break into (not to mention they might deem it not worth the attempt if they can’t see what you have in your car). The benefits of car window tinting speak for themselves!
